Kings of Leon Announce Summer Tour

Kings of Leon have announced plans for an extensive summer trek through North American amphitheaters, which will get underway June 5 in Atlantic City. In advance of the tour, the Kings -- who also have a Bonnaroo gig slated in their home state of Tennessee on June 11 -- are reportedly hard at work on the follow up to 'Only by the Night', which dropped back in September 2008."The new stuff is all over the place," drummer Nathan Followill told Spin. "There's stuff that sounds like Radiohead. There's stuff that sounds like Thin Lizzy. There's stuff that sounds like the Band. We're pretty much to the point now where ... [we can] try stuff we would've been scared to death to try on the first couple of records."
While there's no word on when the new album might surface, the lack of a new disc to support shouldn't hurt the band, who recently pulled down a trio of Grammys -- including Record of the Year for 'Use Somebody' -- when it comes to ticket sales. Last month, the band's June 20 gig in London's Hyde Park reportedly sold out in mere seconds. Check here for tour dates.

Love these Tennessee boys! I have tickets to see them in Virginia Beach, Va. My dream has come true to see them live and I can't wait.
