The album art has also been revealed. It features a sculpture called 'The Binding Force,' created by artist Mark Fox. Americans and the web savvy may have already seen 'Terrible Love' performed on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' last week. If not, or if you want a repeat, that video is here.
The album will be released on May 10 2010 in Europe, and a day later on May 11 in North America, via 4AD. The album was produced by the band, along with Peter Katis, who worked with them on 'Alligator' and 'Boxer.' It was recorded at The National's own studio in Brooklyn, New York, and at Katis's studio in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The tracklisting is as follows:
'Afraid of Everyone'
'Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks'
