Jack White Teams With Jay-Z for New Track

Jack WhiteJack White continues to add to his impressive, if not compulsive, run of projects with the news that he and hip-hop giant Jay-Z recently paired up in the studio. Hova and the man behind the Third Man Records empire have long admired one another.

"I just did a record with Jay-Z," White told British GQ. "We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I've been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It's unbelievable sounding."

Although there's no clear indication if and when fans might get an opportunity to hear the track, Jack 'n' Jay together sounds like a slam dunk. According to the report, the teaming of the two talents came after Jay-Z called White a "Renaissance man" last fall. White continued the love-fest by calling the rap mogul "just incredible" in January.

I went to high school with Jack White. (No Lie) He and I attended a predominantly all black high school, yet Jack refused to try to understand hiphop. He vehemently refused to see any merit in it (Dude, its not even music...) and his comments over the last few years imply that nothing has changed. This is simply a money grab for Jack and for Jay Z. Jack wouldn't get Hip hop if he had to wipe it from his butt. I'll pass. Wake me when a real hip hop collaboration along.

I guess if we dont love these overrated non talents that makes us all haters? Personally I think Jay Z stinks like week old butt and I could care less how rich he is. Im not surprised he makes millions.Most of the really rich "acts" stink anyway.They just know how to work the millions of sheep out there better.

While I generally hate rap, I can`t deny Jay Z is a cut above the rest. And Jack White is one of the best in the biz today. Can`t wait to hear the results !
