The jangly pop of 'Alligator' comes from Tegan and Sara's 2009 release, 'Sainthood' -- and like most of the record, the song clocks in under three minutes, but this one stands out as being most "remixable." While we can probably expect the likes of Four Tet and Sitek to put a warped, washed-over feel to it, the last five tracks are being billed as "club tracks." So, yes, that means Tegan and Sara dance parties could be coming to a club near you soon.
The duo is currently wrapping up a headlining theater tour and will take a few months off before teaming up with Paramore this summer for an amphitheater run, starting July 23 in Raleigh, N.C. If you're not familiar with 'Alligator,' check out the video here.
