Dead Weather's 'Sea of Cowards' Due Out in May

The Dead Weather's second record, 'Sea of Cowards,' has officially set its worldwide release for May 10 and May 11 for the US, according to the band's website.

The album's first single, 'Die by the Drop,' will be available on April 6 in North America and a few other countries opposed to the speculated March 23 release date Spinner previously reported. The UK will be able to get it on April 26. While the band will officially release the music video for 'Die by the Drop,' directed by 'The Runaways' filmmaker Flora Sigismondi, in April, a teaser is currently streaming on their YouTube page.

The band is also selling limited-edition silkscreens printed on black velvet designed by Todd Slater, which are currently available at the Dead Weather's online shop. In support of their new 11-track album, the Dead Weather will tour with the Ettes and play Coachella and Bonnaroo, among other festivals.
