Where does he find the time? Having just released a live album and DVD with the White Stripes and with the Dead Weather's second album, 'Sea Of Cowards,' ready to drop in May, singer-guitarist Jack White has spoken of his latest collaboration with rapper Jay-Z."We're in the middle of working on some things right now - I think it sounds incredible," he told BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe.
He continued, "He's brilliant -- there's just no doubt about it. He's the best thing going in hip-hop and has been for years."
Quite when the fruits of their label will see the light of day is anybody's guess. Currently on tour with the Dead Weather -- the band he formed with the Kills' Alison Mosshart -- White's punishing work schedule ensures that Jack is anything but a dull boy. He also somehow finds enough hours to run his own record label, Third Man.
Speaking of his high levels of motivation, White said, "I could have had five or six years of sitting round doing nothing, getting writer's block or feeling uninspired, but there are new challenges happening for me everyday."
