The Slits Announce European Tour Dates

Legendary female punk group the Slits have announced a full UK and European tour to take place this May, around the group's festival appearances in the UK, Italy and Spain.
Featuring founder members Ari Up and Tessa Pollitt, the band released their first studio album in 25 years last October. 'Trapped Tiger' features the band's current lineup of Anna Schlute, Adele Wilson and Hollie Cook -- Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook's daughter.
The Slits -- who fuse punk with reggae -- originally split in 1981 but returned to the live scene last autumrn, playing their first live gigs in 30 years.
The tour kicks off in Dublin on May 6, and winds up at Primavera in Spain on May 28.
