Gossip's Beth Ditto Admits to Shoplifting Problem

Beth Ditto has admitted to a problem -- resisting her urge to shoplift.In an interview with Papermag.com, the Gossip singer and fashion icon said, "I have a hard time not buying or stealing. If I want something, I have to have it. But not anymore. The last time was three months ago -- a dress from Marshalls."
Three months isn't so long. Ditto is at least improving, she believes. "I used to steal more. I mostly stole from Goodwill. You know, 'Can't be bothered. The line's too long. Put it in your purse.'"
Spinner, we should point out, cannot condone such activities.
In the interview, Ditto also talks about her partner Freddie, a female-to-male transsexual bus driver from Portland, Ore., who she's been with for eight years. "It's so West Coast. There's a lot of people who started on testosterone or oestrogen, and there's a whole movement of people who want to be trans but not take them. Also, it doesn't matter if you call him 'her' or he 'she.' Here I am coming out as straight!"

While I think this Beth chick is a loser for stealing---I cant believe how many people (women especially) on here are being so cruel.
Ladies---you fight for feminism and equal rights, yet your doing horrible girl-bashing. This isnt right.
You know you'd be so depressed if you gained a few pounds and people called you fat. So why would you call this girl a pig??? OK--shes overweight and is lacking on morals. But fuck---she doesnt deserve what your doing.

I disagree. She is bragging about stealing from charity because she is desperate for attention. Maybe hateful, disparaging remarks is what she needs to become a better person. I don't ever comment about a person's looks unless I find his or her personality repulsive. I use those insults because an asshole doesn't care if you call her an asshole, but she will be offended if I call her ugly.

Beth, you are fat and ugly, and brag about stealing from charity. You also make a point of telling everyone who will listen about how you are dating a tranny, because you think it means you are an interesting, artist type. We all know that you are really nothing more than an attention junkie. Want to have everyone interested in you? Jump off a bridge, you'll be in all the papers, and people might be fooled into thinking you are some deep, brooding artist.

This woman is not in the least bit unattractive and why so many of you are disgusted by her weight is puzzling. Why are you so vicious? I assume you must all be the perfect weight and absolutely gorgeous, with no character flaws whatever. I am disgusted by all of your horrid comments and find this woman to be quite interesting.
