It wasn't a wardrobe malfunction: Erykah Badu's clothes intentionally come off in the official video for the song 'Window Seat.' The video was filmed in Dallas at Dealey Plaza -- the site of President John F. Kennedy's assassination. TMZ reports that a woman filed a formal complaint on Thursday with the local authorities after claiming that she saw Badu naked. Police are taking the matter seriously and say that Badu could face charges including disorderly conduct.
Rolling Stone reports that no complaints were filed at the time of the shoot, several weeks ago, but that Dallas police are now encouraging witnesses to speak up. According to Badu's Twitter feed, some people at the video shoot -- which was filmed guerrilla style -- did yell at her to put her clothes back on. Yesterday, Badu wrote the following tweet: "No one has pressd charges. All propaganda. Dont believe everything you hear. Fall back soldiers. EveryTING is fine." We hope so.
You can watch the video at Badu's official website. That is, if seeing Erykah Badu naked (albeit censored) doesn't offend you.
