TIMELESS!

I've seen Bob several times through the years and he's one of a handfull or so folks that I will always look forward to seeing again. NOone writes better songs IMO. As for Jakob I'm going to see his show a week from tonight and I know it's going to be good. He's Bob's boy, why wouldn't it be?

I can't remember when I first started listening to Bob Dylan, as his music was always playing on my parents' stereo(maybe since birth and I am 50!). His music has guided me through most of my life. When I first heard the Wallflowers, I thought I heard something familiar. A smile came to my face when I found out it was Jakob Dylan. Need I say more?

I think Bob Dylan definitely had talent as a poet/songwriter, but personality wise, it would be interesting to see if he is somewhere on the Asperger's Autism spectrum. He was brilliant at his craft, but lacked in social skills.

Good for him !!

I remember when I met Jakob once many years ago I asked him how his father was doing and he looked me in the eye and said "you're not talking to me". I thought it cruel then but realized he probably wanted to be seen as a serious musician, not Bob Dylan's son. It's good to see that there is respect there today!
