Bob Dylan featured on(and you're gonna love this dylan fans)the next Slayer album!tell you the truth,i give jakob dylan due props for not using his father as a career prop.Bob dylan blah blah.that crap isn't even remotely relevant now.jakob,i can tolerate. His dad on the other hand,no i never gave 2/3rds of a rat's sphincter about.you want folk type stuff from the 60's,go dig up some "country joe and the fish",now that had some heart, especially the stuff he did with janis.

April 03 2010 at 6:42 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Reply"Early one mornin the sun was shinin. I was layin in bed. wonderin if she changed at all, if her hair was still red?" I am trying to quote a line from one of Bob Dylan's greatest songs, "Tangled up in blue!" How any human being could say that this man, bob Dylan, is not a genius need only listen to that one song! TIMELESS!
April 03 2010 at 5:08 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI've seen Bob several times through the years and he's one of a handfull or so folks that I will always look forward to seeing again. NOone writes better songs IMO. As for Jakob I'm going to see his show a week from tonight and I know it's going to be good. He's Bob's boy, why wouldn't it be?
April 03 2010 at 4:13 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI can't remember when I first started listening to Bob Dylan, as his music was always playing on my parents' stereo(maybe since birth and I am 50!). His music has guided me through most of my life. When I first heard the Wallflowers, I thought I heard something familiar. A smile came to my face when I found out it was Jakob Dylan. Need I say more?
April 03 2010 at 3:56 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyBob Dylan changed music for the better, PERIOD.
April 03 2010 at 3:28 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI think Bob Dylan definitely had talent as a poet/songwriter, but personality wise, it would be interesting to see if he is somewhere on the Asperger's Autism spectrum. He was brilliant at his craft, but lacked in social skills.
April 03 2010 at 3:21 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMay you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung............Bob Dylan IS forever young. He is as relevant now as he was in the sixties. Listen to the lyrics of " The Times They Are A Changin'".......Dylan, Springsteen, Cohen, John Prine, Kristofferson poets all of them !!!! Jakob is his own man and makes his own music. Good for him !!
April 03 2010 at 3:15 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI remember when I met Jakob once many years ago I asked him how his father was doing and he looked me in the eye and said "you're not talking to me". I thought it cruel then but realized he probably wanted to be seen as a serious musician, not Bob Dylan's son. It's good to see that there is respect there today!
