Blondie and Crystal Castles Added to Rock Ness Bill

As if having the Strokes appear at your festival wasn't enough, it's been announced that Blondie have been added to this year's Rock Ness festival on the beautifully idyllic shores of Scotland's Loch Ness on June 11-13.The CBGB veterans -- whose new studio album, their first since 2003's 'The Curse Of Blondie' is expected to drop in May -- will be joined by Crystal Castles, the Maccabees, Alabama 3, legendary DJ Norman Jay and comedian Kevin Bridges.
As previously reported on Spinner, Rock Ness is set to be headlined by the Strokes, Fatboy Slim and the long-awaited return of dance behemoth Leftfield, who play their first in 10 years.
Also set to appear at the festival are former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown, Doves, Pendulum, 2 Many DJs, Enter Shikari and Plan B.
Rock Ness also boasts an impressive roster of electro beats in the shape of chart-topper Tinie Tempah, Killa Kella and Freestylers.
The festival is now expanded to three days for the second year in a row. Weekend tickets, priced £149 ($225), are on sale now at the Rock Ness website.
