Some of the lineup for this year's Offset Festival -- which will take place in Hainault Forest and Country Park, on the borders of Essex and London -- has been announced, including These New Puritans, Sheffield outfit Rolo Tomassi, and legendary krautrockers and Brian Eno collaborators Cluster. Also slated to perform will be Sub Pop-signed Dalston lo-fi trio Male Bonding, Brooklyn's Telepathe and fellow New Yorkers Liquid Liquid -- who are making their second ever appearance in the country.
Elsewhere on the bill are O. Children, Charles De Goal, Kap Bambino, Factory Floor, Bo Ningen, Invasion, Electricity in Our Homes, Blue on Blue, Death in Plains, Trailer Trash, Fiction Taigen Kawabe and a DJ set from the Charlatans' very own Tim Burgess.
More than 180 artists will play the two-day event across a variety of stages and tents. Everything is close to everything else, so there's no need to worry about walking a mile-and-a-half just for that cheap hot dog you fancy.
Last year saw performances from Male Bonding, the Horrors (pictured at the festival last year), the Slits, Metronomy, Future of the Left and Let's Wrestle. This year's edition runs from September 4-5. Early bird discount tickets are on sale now, at £28 ($42) for day tickets and £55 ($83) for weekend tickets.
