"There is talk about doing my own record, reforming with Garbage and a short film too," Manson told the Daily Record. "Whether it will all come off, I don't know. I've learned that I need to take it one day at a time."
Manson quit music after her mother's passing from dementia and her role on Fox's 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' wore her out. It was the tragic death of a friend's young son from cancer that reminded her of the importance of music -- Jeff Castelaz, who owns Dangerbird Records, asked Manson to sing his child Pablo's favorite song, David Bowie's 'Life on Mars,' at the memorial service.
"We were all in so much pain but it meant so much to them that I could sing that song and it meant so much to me that I was able to do something," Manson said. "It made me realize how much music sustains people. I don't know why I turned my back on it."
