Lilith Fair Tour Dates Announced

After months of buzz swirling around Lilith Fair's revival, the all-female music festival will kick off on June 27 at the AB McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Canada. It will visit 36 cities in North America including Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Dallas, where the tour will play its final show on Aug. 16.While each date will feature only 11 artists from its roster each night, Lilith Fair co-founder and tour's headliner Sarah McLachlan will play at every stop on the tour. This year's line up includes A Fine Frenzy, Gossip, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Anya Marina, Tegan and Sara, Sia and Rihanna, who will make a special appearance at the Salt Lake City gig on July 12.
The festival's first run launched in 1997 and became the top-grossing festival of that year as well as the top grossing female music festival of all time. Tickets for many of the dates have already gone on sale, and ones for the recently added shows will go on sale on April 17 via Lilith Fair's website or Live Nation. Some venues will be offering a special "Ladies Night 4-Pack" for $99, while supplies last.

Sarah/Lilith Fair,please consider coming to Hawaii(Oahu).We don't get very many great artists like you here.I know flying in all your equipment is a pain and expensive,but I know many women who would be willing to pay the price for the privlige to see you. Don't get me wrong, we've had some great concerts here, but not enough. Aloha,Jamie

I'd like it very much if the entire roster of Lilith Fair performers would be listed somewhere. I realize that it is a changing scene & some artists will be changed and/or added and/or deleted, but it would be nice to know all the names of those who are @ least expected to perform @ any of the shows.
