Kid Sister, 'Daydreaming' (Telephoned Dreams Version) -- Song Premiere

The idea of daydreaming kinda goes hand in hand with the concept behind Telephoned. A collaboration between DJ Sammy Bananas and MC Maggie Horn, the Brooklyn duo takes a fluid approach to covers and remixes -- they kind of mash up the very idea of a mash-up, interlocking old parts with original ideas. In other words, this is party music, pure and simple.

So when Fool's Gold asked Telephoned to remix Kid Sister's 'Daydreaming,' they responded with the following track. "We decided to add our own unique Telephoned spin to it," Horn tells Spinner. "Covering the Cranberries' 'Dreams' to compliment the vocals and atmosphere of Kid Sister's fun new single, Sammy crafted a beat ripe for the summer."
