Joe - just because we have the capacity to do something does not meant that we are meant to do it. We have the capacity to lie, kill, cheat etc., but that does not mean we are "meant" to do them. Many people choose not to do those things because they consider it morally wrong. It's a choice. We are not mindless beings that are controlled by what we are "meant" to do. We have free will to choose what we want to do and many of those choices involve morals. Morrissey's morals regarding respect for all living creatures overrides his option to eat them. I really respect him for that. It's a lifestyle choice that hurts no one, and makes him live a pure life according to his own conscience.

OH, come on. If we hadn't been meant to eat animals, they wouldn't be made of meat. Oh, and also, we wouldn't be able to digest meat. That's kind of important too.
