Grammy-winning, loud-mouthed, heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed that a new studio album, 'Scream,' will be released by Epic this summer, on June 14 in the UK and the day after in the US.The 11th solo album by the former vocalist for Black Sabbath will be promoted by an 18-month world tour, dates and venues for which will be revealed in the next week.
Producer Kevin Churko who worked on Osbourne's million-selling 'Black Rain' album in 2007, has once again been at the helm -- with musicians Blasko, Tommy Clufetos and Adam Wakeman -- backing the self-styled 'Prince of Darkness.'
Lead single 'Let Me Hear You Scream' is available to stream now at AOL Music's Noisecreep page to give a taste of what's to come, following its world premiere on US TV show 'CSI: New York' on April 14.
Other track titles confirmed for 'Scream' so far are 'Diggin' Me Down,' 'Let It Die,' 'Soul Sucka,' 'Fearless,' 'I Want It All,' 'Time,' 'Crucify' and 'I Love You All.'
The new album's title had previously been announced as 'Soul Sucka.'
Ozzy Osbourne has also recently collaborated on vocals with Slash on the track 'Crucify the Dead,' which appears on the ex-Guns 'N Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist debut solo album, which came out on March 31. The track was originally to be released as the first single, but Slash commented he didn't want a release to clash with Osbourne's new material.
