Ben and Jerry's Announce 'Bonnaroo Buzz' Ice Cream Flavor

For those who make the annual pilgrimage to Bonnaroo each June, the festival has always held a sweet spot. But now Bonnaroo has become a legitimate taste treat for kids to eat. At precisely 12:01AM ET on April, 20 (that's 4/20, dude), Ben & Jerry's announced a new flavor in honor of America's most important festival: Bonnaroo Buzz.

A heady ensemble that brings together light coffee and malt ice creams with whiskey caramel swirls, topped off by English toffee pieces, Bonnaroo Buzz is intended to rock your socks off. Or, at least, just rock. It will be sold only at actual Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops, in addition to being a headlining food item at the festival itself. Unlike many other things that might make your Bonnaroo buzz, the ice cream flavor is totally safe to drive on after devouring.

"We're going to throw an outrageous Bonnaroo Buzz flavor release party at our Scoop Shops across the nation on May 4," says Ben & Jerry's marketing director Dave Stever. "So if you can't make it to Bonnaroo, we're going to bring the 'Roo to you." That's an awfully nice sentiment...but we still recommend going to the actual festival.
