With the recent release of his debut album 'Go,' Jónsi, the falsetto-voiced singer of Iceland's Sigur Rós, is taking his new material on the road with an elaborate stage show. Equal parts concert, theater production and art project, the 'Go' tour aims to "create a show which [is] different from what people expect when they go to see a gig," according to director Mark Grimmer. "We wanted ... to create a kind of magical environment for him to perform his songs in. One that was exciting to look at as well as listen to."To capture the work that went into this unique live show, the behind-the-scenes efforts were documented in a four-part series of videos. In the following exclusive clip, the artists and producers bring their dreamlike backdrops and projected animations to the stage, bringing it all together with Jónsi and his band for the first time. The rehearsals give viewers a glimpse at the massive scale and scope of their travelling operatic set.
Have a look at the exclusive clip, as well as the other three installments after the jump.
