Keeping such good company, and even landing a slot at this year's Lollapalooza, the Kissaway Trail are still a band on a budget. Their first American release, 'Sleep Mountain,' dropped on Tuesday and for this 'Beat Your Heartbeat' video, they had to make do. But if we didn't tell you that, you'd never know. Sorry. "We had to lie on spinning chairs for many hours and keep the body horizontal," frontman Thomas Fagerland tells Spinner. "Our stomachs and necks were so sore the days after."
The song itself doesn't tell a story so much as it is an expression of the feeling of being "displeasured in the sun," as the band explains it. "We think that one of the most attractive things about this song is the way it drags you into the world of its own," says Soren Corneliussen. "The way the video is created actually supports that very much. Everything, even the feel of the song, spins around." Like a record, baby. Check it out below.
