Cribs to Play Wichita Recordings Show to Mark Label's 10th Birthday

One of London's most respected independent record labels, Wichita Recordings, has revealed the line-ups for a series of shows at the Garage in Islington, to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.Headliners for the shows will be the Cribs, First Aid Kit and Lissy Trullie, with the fourth yet to be confirmed. Others set to perform include Espers' Meg Baird, Peggy Sue, Lovvers, Those Dancing Days, Sky Larkin and Young Legionnaire. The gigs are scheduled for July 12-15.
Special Wichita goody bags will be given to the first 200 fans through the doors on each night. The label has already kicked off its anniversary celebrations with the limited-edition release on vinyl, for the first time in Europe, of Bright Eyes' 'Fever and Mirrors' (Wichita's maiden release) and the Cribs' self-titled debut to coincide Record Store Day, as previously reported on Spinner.
Wichita Recordings was set up in 2000 by Dick Green, who previously founded Creation records with Alan McGee, and Green's business partner, Mark Bowen. Their roster includes such artists as Bloc Party, Conor Oberst, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Los Campesinos! and Peter Bjorn and John.
The line-ups for the dates at the Garage so far are:
Lissy Trullie, Those Dancing Days, Young Legionnaire (July 12)
First Aid Kit, Peggy Sue, Meg Baird (July 13)
Cribs, Sky Larkin and Lovvers (July 14)
Headliners TBA, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Johnny Foreigner (July 15)
