Dear Bret I wont lye to you and say....You are my Idol LOL I did not know about you since The Apprentice. Hey! I am a french Canadian. 62 years young 4 kids one almost older then you. I was blessed with 6 grand-kids. On monday July 21 st. I had a TIA 4. Man oh! man what a scary day. After I lost my penmanship, my right leg was so weak. I never felt so screwed up in my life. My memory went, I had bad tremors. I gained 17 lbs on my size 6 frame. I could not excercise, dance or sing. Music has been my life. Singing dancing or composing. My Tia 4 was on the right side of my body. The of course the creative side. To finish me off I started to have tremors where I had a hard time to bring anything antebale to my mouth. To make matters worst I started havin syncopies. A minimum of 9 that I can remember. I hid, Never looked in a mirror. I hated what I have become. Where was I in this darn mess???? After 6 months of working hard on myself I was pretty well getting there. Today I am starting to get fit and I sware I will fit these size 5 and 6 clothes again LOL o.k. it mi9ght be 7 or 8 LOL. Bret I dont know you but you are young and I know that within a few months you will be the son I would have like to have. Who knoes...if you ever come to Sudbury On. ( do yourself and your band a favour come in summer ) Winter are deadly here. If I can afford the trip or tickets I will go see you perform. I would love to shake your hand and give you a hug. God bless you and your familly. To be a diabetise is no fun. Hey! man I told you I was french, so please be forgiving. I hope you get this e-mail.
Take care Dolores Sinclair
P:S: I bought myself a full figure mirror yesterday instead of going to the storage and get a good on. Hey! aint that a start and I allowed myself to by a pair of medium pants istead of petite. Keep being positive Bret and laugh at yourself. In no time it will only be a memory. You will be srtonger then ever. I guess you will not to the Michigan Kiwadin Casino?? If I knew in advence I might be able to save to have aroom and tickets. If you dont mind being taking out for coffee...I would be glad...
Take care

Both of them must have fought hard to make full recoveries, and I know Bret will do the same. Thanks to Ann and Pat for their stories of hope.

Hope to get an update on your condition soon and that it is good news. I pray that you will be alright and my thoughts are with you. I have been looking forward to seeing you at our Memphis in May outdoor music festival (Sunday aft. May 3rd). It just won't be the same without you there; so get all better and meet me in the park on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River in Memphis, TN for a beautiful spring day filled with music, love and laughter. Hope to see that beautiful smile of yours, but if not...please feel better and take care of YOU! Love, Laugh, Live Tiff
