Dead Weather Stream New Track, 'Gasoline'

Although the Dead Weather's sophomore album will be out in a couple of weeks, the band hasn't been shy about sharing bits and pieces from 'Sea of Cowards.' Following their explosive performance at this year's Coachella, TwentyFourBit reports that the quartet has started streaming the band's next single, 'Gasoline.' While the song was leaked sometime last week, the band has decided to create a "video" -- in this case, an animated image of singer Alison Mosshart smoking -- to serve as the backdrop to this new track. Complete with hard and heavy guitar riffs and a haunting organ, the song fits nicely with the band's eerie new album.
The Dead Weather are also slated to play at this year's Glasonbury festival in June. Their second album, 'Sea of Cowards,' will be out May 11. Check out 'Gasoline' below.
