As it's been heavily rumored that Reznor has been working on new Nine Inch Nails material, this new act is something of a surprise. By watching the 40-second promotional video you can decipher a few more things about the project: knobs were used in the recording and a dark nail polish was used in turning said knobs, which would lead one to believe that manicures may or may not have happened in recording this EP. The music played while the knobs are turned sounds like something we'd expect from a Reznor project: dark, industrial, swirling.
There's no word on whether or not Reznor and Maandig team up for vocal collaborations, but we think it could surely provide a nice balance to the traditional Reznor angst. And fear not, NIN fans -- a re-release of the group's landmark album, 'Pretty Hate Machine,' is supposedly in the works. In the meantime, this is the last week of Nine Inch Nails' virtual garage sale on eBay.
