Last week, the Australian rockers went head-to-head with Paul Weller in a reprisal of the 'mods vs rockers' skirmish, with their 'Iron Man 2' beating Weller's 'Wake Up The Nation' to the top on April 25.
And now, Billboard.biz reports that AC/DC have now topped the European album charts after picking up other No. 1s across the continent.
The album usurped Lady Gaga's 'The Fame' at the top, while Weller's 'Wake Up The Nation' charted at No. 3.
In addition to the UK, the 'Iron Man 2' gained top spot in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Ireland, while coming fourth in Spain, Norway and Denmark.
It also went to No. 9 in Portugal and saw healthy sales in the Belgian regions of Flanders and Wollony.
'Iron Man 2' is a greatest hits of sorts, featuring classic tracks like 'Back In Black' and 'Rock 'n' Roll Damnation.'
