Bret Michaels Released From Hospital After Brain Hemorrhage
- Posted on May 4th 2010 4:13PM by Dan Reilly
After suffering a brain hemorrhage on April 22, Bret Michaels is out of the hospital. While his physician, Dr. Joseph Zabramski, wouldn't say when the Poison frontman was released, he did tell reporters that Michaels is in stable condition and should make a full recovery."Mr. Michaels was indeed a lucky person, a very lucky person," Zabramksi said at a Tuesday press conference. "He's improving and I expect him to continue to improve. I really expect that he will fortunately make a 100 percent recovery. He's just one of those lucky people -- 10 to 20 percent who make a complete recovery and can resume all of their normal activities."
The 47-year-old rocker and reality show star was originally hospitalized after having intense headaches, just 10 days after he had an emergency appendectomy. After undergoing tests, doctors found a "massive subarachnoid hemorrhage," indicated by bleeding near his brainstem. Hopefully he makes a speedy return to the stage.

You are in my thoughts
Love You
Marilyn
I am a big fan since Rock of Love. Enjoyed his great sense of humor and fun without his ever losing respect for any other person on the show.
I am anxious to find out if he won Celebrity Apprentice, and can't miss a minute of it because of his love of life and joy that he brings to others in his presence.
I wish him the best of health at this very critical time in his life. It would be a loss to not see his smile and twinkle in his eye on TV for me. He is just pure fun to watch. I know absolutely nothing about his musical career, so I was surprised at what a great talent he is on addition to being great entertainment for us reality junkies.
I am glad he is getting better. I knew he was strong he has his children and his whoe life ahead of him. Keep going Bret we all Love you
