Jack White Says Meg Is 'Over Anxiety Issues'

Following the extended hiatus caused by Meg White's anxiety issues, Jack White has said he believes her problems may be over -- thus leaving the door open for a much-anticipated reunion by the White Stripes. Speaking to the Times newspaper, Jack White confirmed he wanted to resume White Stripes duties with Meg again, saying, "I would like to. I don't think her anxiety exists any more. But I don't know."
The singer-guitarist explained that Meg has been a constant presence in his life. He said, "She was there when we were rehearsing for the Dead Weather and Karen [Elson, Jack's wife]'s band was rehearsing in the next building."
He added, "She's still involved and everything, but we've never sat down and gone, 'OK, so don't forget to block out three months ...' Although we never did that, even in the thick of the craziness of the White Stripes."
Jack also said, "I have nothing planned after this month coming up, but I know that it all will be filled up really fast."
The White Stripes were forced to cancel their US and UK dates in September 2007 when it was announced that Meg White was suffering from "acute anxiety and ... unable to travel."

When Meg has anxiety it doesn't cause her to completely start over? I once had to stop going to school and lost everything I worked for over a nervous breakdown trying to remember trauma, guess her condition isn't that severe or she might forget three months of her life. Im really glad to hear she is healthy and excited about their return.
