"BP again," Yorke wrote on Radiohead's official site. "Maaan, shouldn't BP be held criminally responsible for the oil slick? Shouldn't the heads of BP be held to account? This is not just a[n] accident. This is a terrible crime. Record profits? Nice."
This isn't the first time Yorke has voiced his opinions in environmental affairs. In December 2009, he visited Copenhagen as a media member covering the UN Climate Change Conference. A month earlier, he penned a criticism of the British government's decision to rely more on nuclear power.
