Thom Yorke Says BP Should Be 'Criminally Responsible' for Oil Spill

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is seething mad about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and has suggested that the faulty rig's owner, BP, should be charged with an environmental crime."BP again," Yorke wrote on Radiohead's official site. "Maaan, shouldn't BP be held criminally responsible for the oil slick? Shouldn't the heads of BP be held to account? This is not just a[n] accident. This is a terrible crime. Record profits? Nice."
This isn't the first time Yorke has voiced his opinions in environmental affairs. In December 2009, he visited Copenhagen as a media member covering the UN Climate Change Conference. A month earlier, he penned a criticism of the British government's decision to rely more on nuclear power.

Hey Thom.. guess who is BP's biggest recipient of "campaign donations"? Thats right, your pal Barack Obama. In fact, BO's administration passed a "special" exemption, specifically for BP in April '09. Socialists are so hopelessy ignorant.

I fail to recall any instance where Thom called Obama his "pal." Even on the official website he has voiced his concern about Obama's ability to enact any real change.

Way to go Thom,
It is a terrible crime and all of the spills are terriable crime against all of us ( the earth the animal and the humans) They should be arrested for not contributing to the evolution of man on this earth. We already have the technology to live without oil. Everything is getting screwed up because of a few extremely rich people want to keep up their lavish ways of living and that at the expanse of the rest of the world. We must stop this bs.

Way to go, Thom. I really like it when smart musicians speak their mind. And this is the frontman from Radiohead we're talking about. BP sucks, they've screwed up way too big to forgive.
