Beatles Zombie Film to Hit the Big Screen
- Posted on May 11th 2010 5:15AM by Barnaby Smith
Plenty of establishment figures in the '60s might have thought the Beatles would eat away at the brains of the nation's youth, and now it seems the Fab Four are to be portrayed as zombies in a forthcoming feature film. Based on an illustrated novel by American author Alan Goldsher, the film will be called 'Paul Is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion.'Movie company Double Feature has bought the rights to the film. Its previous credits include 'Erin Brockovich' and 'Pulp Fiction'.
In the book, zombie John Lennon murders the other three Beatles, who then come back to life as zombies and nourish themselves on the brains of fans, while trying to avoid the clutches of archenemy zombie killer Mick Jagger.
Double Feature partner Stacey Sher said, "I am a huge Beatles fan like the rest of the world and Alan's mash-up, which really showcases his love of music history and his appreciation of the zombie world, is a fun, funny read.
"How can you not love a book where Jesus agrees with zombie John Lennon that the Beatles are in fact bigger than him?''
She added the film will be seeking funding and a cast in the near future.

I also am a great Beatles Fan, but please that line in "IMAGINE" is BAD. who the heck wants AMERICA to be like the rest of the world. I love this country just the way it is/was. John got that line wrong, sorry to say.
The BEATLES Will Never DIE !! WE WILL ALL BE DEAD AND BE ZOMBIES BEFORE THEIR MUSIC DIES .... 5 Generatons and they are still selling and their music is getting more popular with every generation ... We still miss John & George as we here on earth still just IMAGINE....
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
What a sick ticket this writer and/or producer are! The Beatles are an "icon!" - Stupidity personified.

All of you sticks in the mud...poo poo on you. This sounds like a real blast. The Fab Four eating brains and Sir Mick the zombie killer? Far Freaking Out! Love it! Can't wait to see it.
