Beck, M. Ward and the Band's Robbie Robertson are among the artists that have crafted new material for the soundtrack to 'True Blood: Music From the HBO Original Series Volume II.' The project, which will be released May 25, also counts a new duet between Lucinda Williams and Elvis Costello called 'Kiss Like Your Kiss.' Robertson's track 'How to Become Clairvoyant' is culled from his upcoming studio album, his first in 11 years, according to an official announcement. Meanwhile, Beck contributes the new original 'Bad Blood' while Ward takes on the Howlin' Wolf favorite 'Howlin' for My Baby.' An expanded digital version adds previously unreleased tracks by Stone Temple Pilots and Jakob Dylan.
Aside from the exclusive material, Bob Dylan also lends his 'Beyond Here Lies Nothin' from last year's 'Together Through Life' to the second soundtrack installment for the Louisiana vampire drama. Rounding out the project, music supervisor and soundtrack producer Gary Clamar picked tunes by the likes of 13th Floor Elevators, Junior Walker and the All Stars, Eels and Screamin' Jay Hawkins.
