Far, 'Give Me a Reason' -- Song Premiere

After a decade of being dormant -- that's the polite way of saying they broke up 10 years ago -- Far is back in action as a band. They finally found a reason to return and that reason, it turns out, was confirmed by the track 'Give Me a Reason.' Guess they took the song to heart.

"When I wrote the chorus for 'Give Me a Reason,' it was the first thing that really got us excited about making this record," frontman Jonah Matranga tells Spinner. "We wanted to make sure it wasn't just going to be another lazy reunion album, and this song was a spark that let us know we still had something to say as a band."

They've still got that spark alright. Perhaps a throwback to an earlier era, the song sounds like anything but a lazy reunion. Check it out after the jump.
