Rolf Harris will be the first artist to play the Pyramid Stage at this year's Glastonbury festival, opening the three-day event on Friday, June 25.The musician -- famous for his wobble-board and hit songs like 'Two Little Boys' and his cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway to Heaven'-- has just celebrated his 80th birthday, and 2010 will mark the sixth time Harris has appeared at the Somerset bash.
Harris first performed at Glastonbury in 1994 after the chart success of 'Stairway to Heaven,' and just last year played to a packed Jazz World Stage at the festival.
As well as his appearance at the U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder-headlined event, Rolf Harris will also play at this year's Bestival on the Isle of Wight, after a nationwide tour exhibiting 'A Life in Art,' celebrating his 65 years as an artist.
Other artists including Tinchy Stryder have also been added to the lineup. Stryder will play the same Pyramid Stage opening slot on Saturday, June 26.
Candi Staton, Avi Buffalo and Tony Allen will swell the lineup on the Park Stage, joining headliners the XX, Midlake and Empire of the Sun as well as the likes of the Big Pink, Laura Marling and Dirty Projectors.
Glastonbury 2010 takes place from June 25 to June 27, and all tickets for the anniversary event have now sold out.
