Kaskade to Host Poolside Parties in Las Vegas

It's been an amazing few weeks for DJ/producer Kaskade. First, he killed it at Coachella when he had the entire Sahara tent bumping and grinding. Then he knocked even himself out when his debut album, 'Dynasty,' debuted at No. 5 on the iTunes Overall Album chart. "It's been crazy," Kaskade tells Spinner. "It's been a party every day."

Speaking of parties, Kaskade is going to be the ultimate party host in Las Vegas this summer when he takes up a weekly summer residency at the Encore Beach Club, located at the Wynn Las Vegas resort. While he's been focusing the last couple of years on perfecting his concerts, the Wynn shows are going to be more like poolside dances -- expect things to get wet and wild. "It's a summer party that I'm doing the soundtrack for," says Kaskade. "I've seen nothing like this pool in the world. I'm just really excited about it."

When he was first approached with the idea of playing the Encore Beach Club, he thought maybe he'd play a show there or something at some point, sure. But then he saw the property "and I was like, dude, forget about doing the show. I want my party here."

Each week will be unique with different surprises, special guests and various openers. "It's kinda like my party that I'm throwing every week for the summer season and I'm inviting a bunch of my friends to come and make sure that it's the best party that anybody's ever been to," he says. Tall words, Kaskade. Now, please, prove it.
