MGMT's Ben Goldwasser and Yeasayer's Ira Wolf Tuton Star in New Movie

MGMT's Ben Goldwasser, Yeasayer's Ira Wolf Tuton, Sean Bones and Norah Jones are to to feature in a new movie called 'Wah Do Dem.'

As previously reported by Spinner, Bones stars as Max, a skateboarder from Brooklyn, N.Y., who wins a trip for two to Jamaica. However, his girlfriend Willow [Jones] dumps him days before they're due to depart, so Max goes on the cruise to the Caribbean alone.

Now Paste magazine reports that Wolf Tuton and Goldwasser are also part of the cast. The film's singer-songwriter star, as well as songs from Suckers and reggae band the Congos, feature on the soundtrack.

'Wah Do Dem' was written and directed by Sam Fleischner and Ben Chace and is being released on DVD on October 26.

The movie has already won a clutch of awards, including Best Dramatic Feature at the 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival and Best International Feature at the Reggae Film Festival in Kingston, Jamaica, on May 6.
