Big Chill festival organisers have announced Thom Yorke will to be one of the main acts for this year's event. The Radiohead frontman will play the Deer Park Stage on Friday night, Aug. 6 in what is his only scheduled festival appearance of the summer.
Yorke is one of a number of newly confirmed acts who'll be heading to Eastnor Castle Deer Park, Herefordshire, with Metronomy, Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions, Tinariwen, Natty and Bristol HiFi also added to a bill which already includes M.I.A., Massive Attack, Kelis, Roots Manuva and Plan B.
Running from Aug. 5-8, this year's festival will be the first since the Big Chill Festival brand was bought over by Festival Republic -- the previous owners, Chillfest Ltd., were forced into voluntary liquidation last year.
