This inspired us to review our favorite sketches and recurring characters from the last 35 years and choose the ideas that must have been pitched at some point to producer Lorne Michaels. If they weren't, they should have been, and Michaels should have listened -- because they would have been better than 'It's Pat' or 'The Ladies Man.'
