Another indie rock band from Brooklyn, N.Y.? Yes, that is the case here -- but one listen to the Suckers and you'll surely agree that they're a welcome addition to the borough. The band's debut full-length, 'Wild Smile,' doesn't drop until June 8, but fans may already recognize them from their current tour with fellow French Kiss labelmates Local Natives. When that tour wraps shortly before the actual album release, Suckers will then perform various dates with Passion Pit, Tokyo Police Club and Mates of State. It's not bad company they keep. This single, 'A Mind I Knew,' shows that there's good reason for all the hype. Frontman Quinn Walker tells Spinner that the song is actually "a bedtime story for adults." So put earmuffs on your roommates, if needed, and give a listen after the jump.
