FM Belfast first melted hearts in Iceland with their local debut, 'How to Make Friends,' and now that the album is ready for North American audiences, the band hopes to make friends on this continent as well. Many of them, in fact. Sometimes friendship starts with something as simple as a great video. Meanwhile, friendships between musicians and filmmakers are often nurtured by having positive, open-minded attitudes. Such was the case with 'Underwear.'Created by production team the Daniels (Daniel Scheinert and Dan Kwan) at various locations in Los Angeles, the directors tell Spinner that they "aimed to capture the vibe of 'Underwear' and we felt having people dance alone, sincerely making fools of themselves, would do that. Right?"
Right. The band originally saw it a bit differently, perhaps. "It's amazing how the Daniels managed to create a totally different atmosphere in the video than what we had in mind," FM Belfast admits to Spinner. "Yet, they convinced us instantly."
They convinced us instantly, as well. And that, friends, is how you make friends. Better watch this video below and get acquainted.
