Eagles' Joe Walsh Files Restraining Order After Death Threats

Eagles' Joe WalshLife's been good to Joe Walsh, until recent problems with a neighbor forced the Eagles guitarist to file for a restraining order. According to Jam!, the famed musician, 62, obtained the legal order in Los Angeles County Superior Court recently after his 70-something neighbor Nassar Adhoot threatened to kill him.

According to the filing, Walsh claims Adhout trespassed on his property early last month and attacked his personal assistant with a piece of wood. He then shouted, "You tell Joe Walsh I'm going to kill him. I'm going to shoot him."

The court documents reportedly seek to keep Adhoot away from Walsh, his wife, his assistant, his maid and his gardener.

In related news, the Eagles will embark on a North American summer tour with country acts the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban. The next leg of their Long Road Out of Eden 2010 launches June 8 in Toronto.

Joe, I agree with a neighbor like that, you did the right thing.
Keep your cool but protect you family and property.

You should read Heaven and Hell, written by Don Felder. A very interesting story. I wanted it 3 years ago but could not get it in the U.S. do to a law suit pending between Felder and the other Eagles. Don't know if that has ever been resolved, and don't know if you can buy it here or not. I have a friend from England who had his sister go and buy it there, send it here, for me for Christmas. Best Christmas gift I ever got just because someone went out of their way like that fo me. But the book is awesome!

The Dixie Cvnts are a disgrace to the USA. I would not go see them if they were playing in front of my house in the street. They should pack up their broken instruments and move to Pakistan if they are ashamed to be from Texas. George Bush has more class in his toe than all of them put together. I think their music sucks, and the little fat one can kiss off. That's my opinion and if you don't like it I really don't care. Peace Out.

My experience with this kind of thing is to wait a day or two, then, about mid-morning, head over to the neighbors, knock on the door, and ask what the problem is. Sometimes disagreements can take on a life of their own if you're not careful. Joe should see what he can do to try to find some common ground before providing full-employment for the attorney's. Maybe it's already too late, but we're not given much by way of historical fact here. Roll one up Joseph, then head on over. I'll go with 'ya if need be! :)

That man is lucky he didn't live next to Joe in the 70s cause Joe would have sent his ass packing! I have always liked Joe Walsh but the Eagles suck. He should go solo again.

I personally love the Dixie Chicks. Why do you consider them "low class," Mary and Jess? Is it because they had the audacity to tell everyone that they were ashamed to be from the same state as George Bush? As though he was a wonderful president?

I think two of the Eagles were originally with Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band. Rick Nelson was the originator of that sound. I don't think Joe Walsh was with Rick.
