Manic Street Preachers Announce New Album and UK Tour

Manic Street Preachers have announced that their new album will be called 'Postcards From a Young Man' and will hit the shops in September.To support the new record -- their 10th studio album -- the Welsh rockers have also unveiled what they described as their "most extensive UK tour ever," supported by British Sea Power.
The band's web site features a message signed by the band which says the tour is "one last shot at mass communication" -- a hint that this may be the Manics' last studio album, though the band's representatives could not confirm this to Spinner.
It kicks off in Glasgow on Sept. 29 and tickets go on sale June 4 at 8AM GMT.
