Sir Paul McCartney's Tour Bus 'Besieged in Mexico'

Sir Paul McCartney was left shaken but unhurt when his tour bus reportedly came under attack from a group of youths in Mexico during the early hours of Saturday morning, May 29, not long after finishing his second and final night at Mexico City's Foro Sol arena.

According to reports in the Daily Mirror, the incident occurred in one of the city's tourist no-go areas when a group of "thugs" forced McCartney's tour bus to stop in the street. The mob then climbed the bus before proceeding to jump up and down on the roof.

"At first his security team thought it was just swarms of fans but when people started scaling the bus, the situation changed in a flash." a source was quoted by the newspaper.

No one was reported to be injured, but according to the tabloid, "Paul and the team were left shaken up."

In light of the incident which ended after police were alerted, Sir Paul's management are reviewing security.

sooo true!! I live in Arizona and am so sick and tired of these people DEMANDING rights in our country! What would happen if we DEMANDED rights in Mexico? We would either be shot or just "disappear". Their president is such a hypocrite and that lying Obama just kissed his ass, congress got up and cheered when Obama blasted Arizona!! Change, my ass. He needs to be IMPEACHED but that will never happen because no matter what he does, if we try to get him out of office, he will do what all the "minorities" do when they don't get their way, he will cry RACISM! BIGOTRY! They are the ones who keep racism alive, they love that "get out of jail free" card. Haha that's one card they don't mind carrying around.

salinas is getting to be little mexico. and i see it everyday, the mexican gangbangers, for some reason they think it's ok to carry guns and shoot each other. the mexicans destroy where ever they inhabit. they bring down property value and bump their mexican music,so loud it rumbles my home. they have no respect but they sure as hell want it. they have it all free when they come here and destroy where they live and then expect everyone to speak spanish

Sir Paul is not "just a millionare" you stupid moron. he spends a good amount of his money AND time dedicated to animal rights, which they deserve more than most people I know! Not to mention all the JOY he has brought to people through his music! THAT is why he was in Mexico you moron! Bad idea on his part, yes, which just goes to show, those people are all NUTS!

I read recently thst Detroit which is in AMERICA is now a poverty stricken dump, and looks like New York in a Planet of The Apes film, also John Lennon was murdered in New York not somewhere like Mexico...me thinks with a lot of Americans it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black! Hypocrites!

Paul M is a great musician. hes goyya be in La-La land tho and not in tune with the regular earthlings.I mean if you were that adored and pampered like a little king from when you were 20 years old. Its gotta be like Little lord fontelroy life. He thinks he can go anyplace and its ok. All you need is Love, but sometimes you need a Rifle !!!
