The main stage of Coachella is a bold space to state opinions. But, sure enough, LCD Soundsystem mastermind James Murphy used his high-profile set to draw attention to one of his favorite artists: Gil Scott-Heron, who happened to have performed earlier in the day. Murphy dedicated 'Losing My Edge' (whose lyrics name-check the spoken-word pioneer) to him. "Not only this song," said Murphy. "Many of us in the band are also dedicated to Gil Scott-Heron."
