But the band also showcased other new gems from their exciting new release. The album is set to become their game changer, so they stayed focused on their new material, thinking that they were introducing songs such as 'Love and Hate,' 'Laughing Lover,' 'Evening Star,' and 'Below the Hurricane' to newcomers, onlookers and fans alike. But, for an album that was just released two days ago -- officially, anyway -- an impressive chunk of the crowd already seemed quite familiar, cheering at the start of each new tune. Not to mention the roar that erupted when Blitzen Trapper launched into their "deep cut," the fanciful 'Fur' from the 2008 album of the same name.
In other words, on the night that Bonnaroo gave buzz bands the spotlight, Blitzen Trapper proved entirely buzz worthy.
