Ryan Adams to Release 'Unreleased' Albums

Continuing his tentative return to action, Ryan Adams has revealed he plans to release a couple of unreleased albums that he recorded years ago.Firstly, the NME reports the singer posted on his official Facebook page that a new album recorded as Ryan Adams and the Cardinals is on the cards, and is "fresh from the mastering plant."
Titled 'III/IV,' the double album has been "in the vault since 2006" and will be the first Ryan Adams and the Cardinals release since 2008's 'Cardinology'.
Adams then went on to reveal a new solo album is in the pipeline for release too, writing that the LP was recorded "over Christmas 2005." The last album attributed to Adams as solo (though it actually featured the Cardinals too) was 2007's 'Easy Tiger.'
"Oh yeah, p.s. the 'Blackhole' LP is also back from the mastering plant," he posted on Facebook. "I f'n love this thing. It took four years to make it and to me it is basically 'Love Is Hell Part 3' ... lots of shimmery guitar love on this. Exciting times!!!"
No release dates have been announced for either album.
Adams announced a hiatus from music in early 2009, citing hearing loss and disaffection with the industry. However, he recently released 'Orion', a "fully-realised sci-fi metal concept album", and was inspired enough by attending the funeral of Ronnie James Dio to compose "eleven new solo tunes." The chaos that is his career continues.
