Sir Elton John Death Threat Man's Charges Are Dropped
- Posted on Jun 15th 2010 12:45PM by Andrew Kerr
Charges against an American man accused of threatening the life of Sir Elton John have been dropped just hours before the case was due to go to court.Neal Horsley was arrested in March after writing a blog entitled 'Why Elton John Must Die' and posting a viral video on YouTube showing himself outside the star's Atlanta, Ga., home brandishing a sign emblazoned with the words "Elton John Must Die."
Ahead of his trial on Monday, June 14, Horsley had been held at Fulton County Jail, Atlanta, Ga., but according to the Daily Mirror the court date was cancelled not long before proceedings were due to begin.
It is believed the knight of the realm's comments in a Parade magazine interview, where he claimed Jesus was gay, triggered Horsley's outbursts. As a result of his campaign the 65-year-old was charged with making terrorist threats, criminal defamation and using the Internet to disseminate threats.
However a Fulton County Superior Judge dismissed the case on the grounds Horsley's actions did not merit criminal charges.

That's funny because I see ordinary people getting arrested for 'terrorist threatening' to their own family and partners everyday on the news. Why does that scenario seem to hold water but saying it to a high profile figure doesn't seem to matter.
And for all of you 'religious' folk...What would Jesus have done? Would Jesus have held a sign saying "Death to Elton John"? I highly doubt it. Jesus was all about Consciousness and until you 'wake up' you're all missing the point of the very religions that you so call think you believe in. You're doing nothing more than repeating what you've heard but you can't seem to acknowledge it. I feel sorry that you're missing a world of abundance and beauty right before your very eyes because you have your noise so far up everyone's business while letting your EGO manipulate you into believing your a good Christian.
What until the day someone stands outside your house with a sign that says death to one of your children. You'll be the first one on the phone to have them locked up. But that's just like your average Christian... a real hypocrite.
... and in addition, I want to congratulate Judge Kimberly M. Esmond Adams of Fulton County Georgia, who understands true law. There are so many corrupt judges, that it's refreshing to see one who follows that law, and who doesn't make up law. I'm sending her a thank you note.

Here is what the bible says.."Just as man is destined to die once". It does not say man 'MUST' die, it says 'is destined' to die. That death is left up to the creator not some man on the street with a twisted mentality.
YEAH, threating to kill someone for making comments is very christan. I hope the guy studied his bible in jail

He merely stated the truth from Hebrews 9:27 that it is appointed unto each man once to die, and after that, the judgment. So, to state that "Elton John Must Die," as the sign said (with Hebrews 9:27 below it), is not a threat. Modern liberals are starting to have a real hard time with the first amendment. I must die, you must die, we all must die.
