With one cinematic foray already set to be unleashed, Liam Gallagher has today revealed similar plans could be afoot for his memoirs of being in Oasis. In an interview conducted with the singer for his clothing label's website -- Pretty Green -- the singer said he hoped to make a book or film, documenting his years fronting the indie band, before he forgets. The film would be produced by Gallagher's In 1 Productions, set up earlier in the year to work alongside independent film makers Revolution Films on the project 'The Longest Cocktail Party.' It was during the Cannes Film Festival in May of this year that Gallagher unveiled his plans to work on the film, based on the book of the same name, which traces the relationship of the Beatles with the music industry during their time on the Apple Corps imprint.
No hints have been made as to the name of the Oasis film, if Noel will be involved, or indeed whether Gallagher will play himself.
Speaking on other facets of his empire, the singer said he hopes to launch a temporary Pretty Green store in London over the summer, with a permanent residence still to be sought. The Mancunian's clothing label has received mixed reviews during its first year in business, but has been sported on stage by the likes of Paul Weller in recent months, and has the Modfather's support by way of a range of co-designs for the label.
