Michael Jackson fans have been told to be on their best behaviour when they visit the star's resting place, ahead of the first anniversary of the pop star's death this week.Fans will be allowed into the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles where Jackson is buried, but they will not be permitted to go near the mausoleum that holds his remains, the UK's Metro has reported.
The complex will also ban fans from releasing balloons or doves within the cemetery, and will also stop Michael Jackson impersonators from carrying out physical tributes to the star, who died on June 25 last year, aged 50.
Police have also stopped people from camping outside the cemetery and setting up merchandise stalls.
The news comes days after Billboard reported the pop star's estate had taken more than $1 billion (£677 million) since the singer's death from an overdose of prescription drugs. The money includes takings from licensing and sales of the star's back catalogue in the months since his death.
Jackson had been weeks away from performing 50 dates at London's O2 Arena when he died.
