Toronto's North by Northeast closed out its 16th edition with with the biggest festival yet. Venues across the city were jammed for five straight night with music lovers of all stripes. And with 650 bands from around the world taking stages, there was quite literally something to please every musical taste.Some of the biggest names in music history, like Iggy Pop and the Stooges, X and De La Soul, joined forces with indie heroes like Pavement and Mudhoney -- not to mention some of the finest Canadian artists in Sloan, Buck 65 and K-OS -- to create a weekend of unforgettable shows.
