The Oracle- His accomplishments? He can't come up w/anyting original or of any substance, so he has to put down other artists in his "music" as well as the mother of his children & his own mother. This guy is pathetic.

The judges are so fed up with it they usually just tell them to shut up when they start that crap. High school drop outs who think they are going to be the next Marshall Mathers (or insert other rapper name to suit your preference). Despite what people may think, kids ARE influenced by these kinds of people. Kids think "they did it and so will I!!" But 99.999999999999% of them will never even have a hint at fame, and about 85% of them will end up in prison and being a burden on society. Parents, teach your children well...they are far more likely to be able to take care of themselves with a high school diploma, and even better some college education. I don't want to sound like a dream killer...but if YOU think your child has an extraordinary talent then take the RIGHT steps to get them into the business....sign them up with an agency that knows what they are doing. They'll also tell you if your kid doesn't have what it takes and you can help them find another path in life. But parents have got to start helping their kids at a YOUNG AGE to start thinking about their future and giving them REALISTIC GUIDANCE. Far too many children today think their path in life is supposed to be EASY and society has got to make them understand that it is NOT. Even living comfortably is very hard work....but it is also very rewarding stuff. I could go on and on....but I see this stuff every day and it just scares me how little real direction kids and young people seem to have today.

June 27 2010 at 7:54 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyBook smart? Yes, it's important if you want to have an intelligent conversation. But then I doubt he is concerned with this being he hangs with rappers. It doesn't mean he isn't smart, but his manager is the one doing the promoting. If he is still well off when he is 60, he will have proven he is reasonably intelligent. Look at how many pro athletes that have made lots of money. A study was done showing over 90% are bankrupt with in 5 years after they quit playing. Time will tell. What would impress me about him? If he can have an intelligent conversation about subjects taught in school, pronouncing words properly and using them properly. Can he discuss the dark ages? How about what caused the fall of the Roman empire? How about a political conversation discussing how this country was formed and how it is supposed to be run instead of just putting politicians down? It's easy to put people down, but to understand why a decision was made, you must first be educated. No, I don't care for him but I may not have liked Eistein either.

For an interesting take on HOW Eminem got big and how why he now looks like he has had 5 nervous breakdowns and Electric Shock Therapy: check a nine part series on YOUTUBE concerning the music industry and the illuminati and hip hop/ rap singers, like Marshall. Even if 1/4 is true, it blows the mind. "THE MUSIC INDUSTRY EXPOSED"
