LCD Soundsystem Take on Bottlers at the Wireless Festival

LCD Soundsystem endured one of the perils performing in front of festival audiences as they took on bottle throwers this weekend at the Wireless Festival. The band -- who saw out the Saturday night of the Hyde Park festival -- were bottled by the crowd, with frontman James Murphy threatening to kick the fan's face in, reports NME.
Half way through their set, they halted proceedings to speak to the deviants in the crowd.
Murphy said, "Hey anonymous asshole throwing stuff, do that to my face and I'll kick your face in. And then I'll pay for your medical bill."
The show eventually got back on the road soon after, with Murphy's words seemingly silencing the over-eager audience members.
Other acts playing over the weekend included Jay-Z, Slash and Lily Allen, who appeared to play her last UK show for the forseeable future before taking a hiatus from music.
LCD Soundsystem are slowing living out their last days it seems, after Murphy announced in March this year that their last release is likely to be their last, as previously reported by Spinner.
